Ask the Expert - Learn About Advanced Unsteady Turbulence Models in ANSYS CFD

Duration: 60 minutes

In many applications and industries, capturing unsteady flow features is of critical importance. Aero-acoustics predictions often require highly accurate unsteady flow data. State-of-the-art reacting flow studies capture unsteady interactions between the flame front and turbulent flow structures.

ANSYS CFD products offer a complete suite of unsteady turbulence models: Large-Eddy Simulation (LES), Detached-Eddy Simulations (DES) and Scale-Adaptive Simulations (SAS). The recording will first briefly present the theories and characteristics of the different models and demonstrate how they successfully used these models using examples from various industries.
