Webinar: Thermoelectric Coupling in the ANSYS Workbench Platform

Duration: 60 minutes

ANSYS 12.0 continues to expand comprehensive multiphysics solutions by enabling thermoelectric coupling in the ANSYS Workbench platform. This webinar highlights thermoelectric coupling using the direct coupled-field elements, now natively supported in the ANSYS Workbench platform. Through this new capability users can view the resulting temperature distribution from Joule heating effects, and advanced thermoelectric effects including the Peltier and Seebeck effects. There will be multiple demonstrations illustrating thermoelectric coupling. Examples include Joule heating of an integrated circuit metallization structure, a buss bar of a short-circuit test transformer, an automotive blade fuse, and a thermoelectric cooler. View this webinar to develop a greater understanding of your thermoelectric designs.
