ANSYS Icepak 12.1 contains many new features and enhancements designed to streamline electronics cooling simulation. Highlights of the 12.1 release include the integration of ANSYS Icepak into the ANSYS Workbench platform, a new capability to import thermal models from ANSYS Icepak into a system level model simulated with Simplorer, and the ability to use ANSYS CFD-Post to post-process ANSYS Icepak results. The integration of ANSYS Icepak into the ANSYS Workbench platform allows you to take advantage of the geometry editing tools of ANSYS DesignModeler, and to map temperature results to a thermal stress simulation using ANSYS structural mechanics software.
