Mr. Jim DeLap – Technical Manager

Duration: 60 minutes

One of the most important steps in obtaining consistent and accurate results in HFSS is the 3-D model entry. The single biggest factor causing discrepancies between measured and modeled results is a deviation between the experimental set-up and the model definition. Crafting complex geometries to accurately capture measurement scenarios can be challenging.

This webinar will go over model entry tips and tricks, cover the solver assumptions that are made for the 3-D model and answer questions like:

  • How do I assign a material to a 2-D object?
  • How do I wrap a 2-D sheet around a 3-D object?
  • How do I modify an imported model to make it parametric?
Following the introductory presentation, our panel of experts will be available to answer any question related to this topic live via WebEx. Ask your own questions or simply listen in on the discussion.
